I used to LOVE the back of Marie Claire Magazine where they would reveal what celebrities carried in their handbags. I've always been fascinated with peoples' favorite things. So, as I procrastinate prepping for Hurricane Dorian, I compiled some of my must-haves from the summer- in no particular order!
Check them out and comment with your thoughts!
1. Let's start with the magical mini-backpack trend, shall we? I'm SO GLAD this trend made a comeback, because is there anything better than being adorable AND handsfree? No, I didn't think so. I have a couple of different ones but I recommend the following super-cute ones: nerdy/geeky/Disney related- LoungeFly for sure, classic leather- Madewell is magical, sporty and light- Adidas.
2. Now, as a nearly life-long anxiety sufferer, I'm all about a good quality CBD oil. So when I heard that Warfighter Hemp was not only great quality but had a mission that I support, I kinda flipped! Warfighter believes in incorporating cannabis/hemp products to help wounded warriors with their pain and PTSD. In fact, 50% of their proceeds support veteran charities. In a time where opioid addiction is running rampant, this mission could not come at a better time! PLUS their products are INCREDIBLE! Go check out my favorite CBD oil with a mission and use code PEACHY20 to save 20% off your first purchase!
3. My new weighted blanket may be one of my all-time favorite items! This was a spur of the moment purchase on Prime Day and I have fallen in love! It's not hot and the weight is perfect for me. If you're not familiar with the benefits of weighted blankets, check out this article by WebMD!
4. The ABSOLUTE perfect meal prep cookbook - especially for busy families- Cook Once Eat All Week by Casey Joy Garcia. Y'all, I have never used a cookbook so much; it's legitimately amazing. It has each week broken down into key ingredients, how to prepare each ingredient, and how to put it together. This book has saved me SO MUCH time and money...and it's actually stuff my kids (and husband) will eat!
5. Trü Passion freaking delicious ketones!! Now, to be honest, it's kind of unfair that I'm telling you about this now because it's totally sold out. But, it was delicious haha! Another killer ketone combo is Lime Time with tropical coconut Crystal Light water flavoring- it seriously tastes like a tropical paradise!! Grab LimeTime HERE!
6. Sheseido Sports BB SPF 50+ is the hands-down, bee's knees in waterproof/sweat-proof coverage. This gem was recommended by a good friend of mine and she did NOT steer me wrong! Honestly, this stuff is hard to get off your face once it's on. So if you place sports, live in a hot place (helllurrr Florida), or just need something with staying power, this is the one for you!
7. My new Origami Owl necklace! Ok so, I've loved Origami Owl jewelry for several years now, but lately they've been stepping up their game! If you're not familiar, Origami Owl has 'living lockets' that you fill with tiny, adorable charms. They're reasonably priced and 100% customizable (which I LOVE)! Plus they use genuine Swarovski crystals, so yeaaahhh it's sparkly.
8. My 24 oz Corkcicle Okay listen. I'm a tumbler junkie. Legit addicted to buying cups and tumblers (sorry, Coggin!). After many tests, the 24oz Corkcicle is my favorite stainless steel tumbler. Here's why: keeps my drinks ice cold as long as Yeti's (and yes, there is a difference between the various brands of stainless and their insulation), cute colors, and, probably my favorite part, it fits easily in a small hand. The "unicorn" colors are just the right amount of shimmer too!
9. Erin Condren Life Planner Here's the thing, EC Life Planners have been one of my favorite things for 9 years running now. Every year I try different planners and every year I go back to Erin Condren. This year's Life Planner theme is kaleidoscope and it's one of my FAVORITES! The colors are gorgeous and the quality can't be beat. Plus, they're totally customizable which is both efficient and fun!
10. Lush Cosmetics Ocean Salt Scrub. Y'all. Y'ALL. This stuff is SO freakin' good!!! I must admit it was a little pricey, but TOTALLY worth it. I've had mine since the beginning of July and have barely tapped the first layer of goodness. This is definitely a grittier scrub and it has vodka in it (yes, really) so those with sensitive skin types will want to take it slow haha! It leaves your skin so smooth and delicious!
